Behind The Lens

I first picked up a camera while studying art and design, capturing florals and textures for my creative projects.

Back then, photography was a quiet sidekick, something instinctive, something just for me. But it wasn’t until I started travelling that I truly fell in love with it. There was something magical about capturing little moments, a laugh shared on a street corner, soft light pouring through a window, flowers budding in a park, and telling a story without saying a word.

When close friends started working in the wedding industry, it lit a spark. I wondered if this personal form of storytelling I loved could find a home in something as meaningful as a wedding day. Years later, I can say it absolutely did.

To me, weddings aren’t just about the big kiss or the first dance, they’re about everything in between: the quiet hand-squeezes, teary-eyed glances, and unfiltered joy. My approach is calm, intuitive, and grounded in connection. I believe in documenting weddings with heart to create timeless images that feel like you, not just a posed version of you.

And honestly? It’s still surreal that this is my job.

As a Scottish wedding and elopement photographer with an authentic, creative, and heartfelt approach, I photograph with intention. You'll receive a handful of sneak peeks within 24–48 hours of your day, and your beautifully hand-edited gallery will be delivered within 8–10 weeks, ready to relive and share!
